The Application is an internal data collection tool designed exclusively for authorized surveyors operating under the VEGFED programme.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, we agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information Collection and Use
The Application is used by authorized field surveyors to collect operational, demographic, and geographical data from vendors. To facilitate this core functionality, the Application requests specific device permissions and collects the following types of data:

2.1 Information Collected from the Device (Surveyor)
To ensure the integrity and accuracy of the surveys, the Application requires access to:

• Precise Location Data (GPS): The Application collects real-time background and foreground geographic location data (latitude and longitude) to geotag the exact location where a vendor survey is conducted. This ensures surveys are completed within assigned zones.
• Camera and Photos: The Application requires camera access to capture photographs of the vendor and their stall setup. These images are strictly used for verification purposes.

2.2 Information Collected during Surveys (Third-Party Data)
Surveyors use the Application to input data regarding vendors, which includes:

• Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Full names, mobile numbers, and Aadhaar numbers.
• Demographic & Financial Data: Age, gender, daily sales volume, income, and loan details.
• Business Operations: Stall setup type, address, and transport logistics.

Surveyors are strictly bound by their employment/contractual confidentiality agreements regarding the handling of this third-party data.

3. How We Use the Data
The data collected through the Application is transmitted securely to our centralized servers and is used exclusively for:

• Verifying the physical location and authenticity of vendor surveys.
• Internal administrative, analytical, and management purposes within the VEGFED programme.
• Preventing fraudulent data entry or unauthorized survey submissions.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data or location data to third parties. Data collected via the Application is strictly confidential and is only disclosed:

• To authorized system administrators and management personnel within the VEGFED organization.
• To trusted third-party service providers (e.g., AWS Cloud Hosting) who facilitate secure data storage and are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
• If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

5. Data Security and Storage
The security of the collected data is a priority. All data collected by the Application is transmitted using secure, encrypted protocols (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services). While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect all collected data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Retention of Data
We will retain the collected data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, or as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

7. User Rights and Data Deletion
Since this Application is an internal administrative tool, account creation, modification, and deletion are managed entirely by VEGFED administrators. Authorized surveyors cannot independently delete their accounts or the survey data once submitted. If you are an authorized surveyor and wish to revoke access or request data deletion, you must contact your direct supervisor or the VEGFED system administrator.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational or regulatory changes. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the Application after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy.
